Wednesday, August 16, 2023 - Wine Lunch (Rocknroller's (Kevin & Vicki's Place)): Light gold color. Drank a glass plus over 45 minutes. I was very excited to open this given Chablis28's recent rave review. The last ime I had it, it was very good, but not on that level yet. That said, we'd also had a Delamotte BdB from mag about a week ago that peaked my attention, so I was all the more looking forward to this. The nose is lovely offering a mix of toast, hazelnut, cedar box, oyster shell, and orchard fruits. The palate is so elegant, classic really, earthy crustaceans, saline, toast, nutty, pear, citrus, seashore minerality, medium bodied and lifted on a lengthy finish. Loved it.
