Saturday, January 25, 2020 - Saturday Burgundy tasting at K&L Redwood City: Dense nose. Cherries. Orange zest. Cinnamon. Cardamom/rice pudding. Strawberries. Really really fresh.
On the palate, zippy acidity but quite light tannin. Also very fresh on the palate. Crushed strawberries and fresh cream (tastes like Eton mess). Vanilla bean. But also a deeper old world aspect, with fall foliage, petrichor and sous-bois. This is really enjoyable now. I can see it aging for a few years, but I can't imagine more then a decade. Love to be proven wrong though.
