Sunday, May 30, 2021 - This wine is a big and bold Tuscany Bordeaux blend. It is rather tannic and closed if you don't give it a lot of air. I tried doing a Coravin taste and it took over an hour to be civilized. After that, I drank slowly over the next 2 days, first with Coravin plus 3 hour decant and it was fantastic. Day 3 it is beautiful with lovely smokey, dark fruit on the evolving complex nose and a mouth coating delicious flavor and a very long finish. It still needs time to develop the flavors that are somewhat wound up but this reminds me of a young Domaine de Chevalier though perhaps the terroir elements will evolve quite differently but that reminder is a very good thing (I love Domaine de Chevalier). I'd hold this for another several years, this is going somewhere very good. If you have a case, try a bottle but give it the longest decant possible. 93+ potential of 96 for me.
