Thursday, December 1, 2022 - 2022 Jadotfest (Medlar, Chelsea): Definitely some vanilla from new oak on the nose, as I knew there would be having tasted this EP, but just enough time had passed for this to form an interesting rather than overly dominant characteristic. With time in the glass the bouquet became increasingly smoky. Really attractive on the palate: tart lemon zest, comforting lemon curd, green herbs to add depth of flavour. Good weight, grippy persistent finish.
