Sunday, July 28, 2019 - Strong tannins counterbalance the rich forward fruit. Dark purple with an earthy nose and some must. Raspberries, blueberries, bramble, pepper and tobacco flavors coat the palate. Delicious and rich with mid -heavy weight. Long legs. Delicious but tips a little toward a late harvest example. Slightly heavier than I'm used to with Turley. Expect it to lighten up with some bottle aging. 91-93 points.
