Wednesday, August 7, 2019 - Color: Dark Purple
Nose: Blackberry, Olive, and Pepper
Taste: Opens with a Softer Cherry Front; Evloves in the mid-palate to the Blackberry and a Noteworthy Peppery Finish with good acidity for hearty foods; Seemed a bit young and coiled still
Comp’s: Thought Rombauer Zin, The Fugitive and The Prisoner seemed a bit more rounded; More Fruit-Forward compared to Chateau Montelena Zin; I think this will be better with longer aeration and some aging
