Saturday, August 8, 2020 - Dark garnet-purple, opaque. Pronounced aroma mostly black fruits but some red. Very full on the palate, huge concentrated fruit with slight sweetness. Fruit definitely overshadows the moderate underlying tannin, making this very drinkable. Hot, with alcohol evident mainly in the long aftertaste. We like our zin young so will drink these over the next 1-2 years, with big, flavorful foods.
