Monday, December 31, 2012 - Medium red, showing its 15 years of age. Beautiful nose that only improved as the night wore on. Quite BDX-like with its earth, cedar bough and other "woodsy" notes. Medium body. Black cherry and red currant flavours and still quite structured. In a good place now but clearly demonstrating Heitz ability for long ageing.
