Friday, April 15, 2022 - Syrah night at Tasty Loong: Brought this as leftovers after I thought this was too reductive on the first day, but I still enjoyed it as the combination of high acid and ripe fruit gave the wine a tension that the Riffault that I tried last week lacked. More Chenin-like on the first day but Burgundy-like on the third when it developed a waxy, slightly honeyed texture. Still needs time to come together but the potential is there.
