Tuesday, October 20, 2020 - IWS reprise (My place, Kent Street): From Coravin. Bright red berry fruit, plenty of sweet spice, cream, a little sour cherry underpin with orange peel, alcohol prickle, touches of garrigue and, with time, the fruit ripens and thickens. Juicy acidity, alcohol warmth helps to make the mouth water, red berry fruit, a little muted, tannins are medium minus intensity but silky and persist long. On the finish leather and that orange peel note though not bitter or astringent. Nice.
