Friday, October 6, 2023 - Ooh, this is lovely. Decanted off its copious chunky sediment, but otherwise absolutely ready. A soft, enveloping nose that had some sweet cherry and an underlying sense of sauvage. Perhaps lacking a bit of concentration on the palate, which had cool brambly fruit, some cocoa, a fair bit of structure and - other than a blackcurrant squash note on the finish - an overall sense of dry restraint.
