Friday, April 7, 2023 - Obviously silly young for a Jamet but the bottle was opened and with tons of air it was enjoyable if still quite primary. Medium-to-full bodied with good depth of dark berry fruit and the classic fine, silky texture of Jamet is quite apparent. Some lovely CR flavors emerge late with notes of campfire embers and slate minerals. I see no reason why this won't become an excellent vintage for this seductive, Burgundian Cote Rotie in proper time. 92+
