Thursday, August 27, 2015 - A remarkable bottle. The nose is full of fresh cut greens and grass with an underlayment of a dark leathery note. Not like a usual barbaresco. The palate is a combo of dark nebbiolo fruit and bright juicy fruit. While there is a an entire undercurrent of classic dark nebbiolo, earthy, tobacco, there is also this series of bright notes that are on top. Most unusual and delicious.
