Saturday, April 3, 2021 - Decanted for 2 hours. Deep purple with clearing at the edges. Intense perfumed nose of freshly cut flowers, raspberries, blueberry jam, quince, earth. Teetering on the edge of being nearly confected, but pulls back. Palate confirms nose, very fruit-forward with good acidity, medium-minus tannins, and excellent length. Really terrific, open wine - I preferred this vintage compared to the 2016 tasted a few years ago. Drinking well now.
