Friday, February 2, 2024 - Here’s my attempt at trying something off my beaten path: Spanish Tempranillo (with a dash of Mazuelo—whatever that is. Okay, just looked it up, it’s what we Yanks know as Carignane. Gotcha.) This wine is a-okay. I’m not going to buy anymore, especially at this price point, let’s put it that way.

Aerated and decanted for 4+ hours. Red fruit basket, some woodsy stuff, fig. I have one more bottle. Going to let it lie for quite a spell.
