Tuesday, February 9, 2010 - Nice bottle with a hint of oak and nicely balanced acidity. Tastes of citrus primarily lemon but with the acidic edge smoothed off. Hint of glycerin at the finish. Drank side by side with a Kistler, Kistler vineyard. Drank them with some challenging food, Chilean Sea Bass in a ginger Teriyaki marinade, grilled Japanese eggplant and grilled asparagus with a tuna spread appetizer. The Kistler food combo could result in a fishy steely taste, especially with the tuna but not with with the Michael.
