Thursday, December 8, 2022 - 4 of 12 opened @1:00 and served @ Cafe Spaghetti alongside 2008 Guyon CdlR. An interesting pair. The Guyon which was opened at dinner was far more open and lighter weight than the tighter, spicier Lignier. After an hour in the glass the Lignier opened up beautifully, dark rich fruit laced with spice and earth, integrating tannins, lovely texture, perfectly balanced ending with a persistent finish.
