Friday, June 9, 2023 - This is one 2016 Brunello that's beginning to show signs of maturity with some color fading and a supple, layered texture. There is sweet dark cherry fruit with tangy acids and a fine mineral component on the back end. Hints of bitter chocolate and smoked wood-spice appear on the savory creamy finish. Drinking well now with food.
