Sunday, November 14, 2021 - Opened, decanted, and consumed over eight hours. It needed it.
Deep, dark burgundy in color. Full bodied
Iodine, bag of rusty nails, some unripe dark plums
Tight and grippy, lots of acidity and tannin. This wine Needs at least five years before the next bottle is opened. That being said, it was much more approachable with a gamey meal. It helped indicate where the wine would get to in the future. The future looks bright.
