Peppery moderately ripe and moderately extracted black fruit. Hints of herbaceous notes/stalks. Smokey olive tapenade as well. Not the most complex Syrah , nor the most concentrated /sophisticated but a very good wine nonetheless. Drink now and in the next many years.

Opened, decanted, and consumed over eight hours. It needed it. Deep, dark burgundy in color. Full bodied Iodine, bag of rusty nails, some unripe dark plums Tight and grippy, lots of acidity and tannin. This wine Needs at least five years before the next bottle is opened. That being said, it was much more approachable with a gamey meal. It helped indicate where the wine would get to in the future. The future looks bright.

Peppery red fruits, smoke, mocha, and espresso crowd into the nose and palate, of this ripe, creamy, fruity wine. Drink from 2022-2032.
