Saturday, March 23, 2024 - AN EVENING WITH PAM STARR: Philly CT get together with Pam and Cyrus from Crocker & Starr. Started the evening with this new release alongside appetizers. Such a great expression of valley floor cab franc, from the estate vines in St Helena, adjacent to BV vineyards. Rich, floral, with gobs of black and red fruits, violets, cardamom, hints of cedar. Terrific, layered mouthfeel , great balance and acidity. A decadent and satisfying wine
Fairly old vines in rocky soils if I remember correctly
