Sunday, September 3, 2023 - After a two hour decant, the nose is very pretty with kirsch, honeysuckle, and dark fruits, with hints of pepper and mint. Good integration of fruit and ripe tannins that caress the palate and feature a dark-fruited, herbal character. A moderate finish. Perhaps would merit a better score if the finish left an exclamation point, but enjoyable and holding well. No rush to drink, but I don't see an upside, and will drink my last bottles within the next five years or so.
