Thursday, May 11, 2023 - Oakville AVA tasting (67 Pall Mall): A subtle cedar note, rose petal, mint. Quite contained with a balance of red and dark fruit. Not a blockbuster on the palate - there's some sweetness and a medium to full body: the palate is actually a little dilute based upon the assertiveness of the nose, but actually that's no bad thing: certainly drinkable. A slight tinny note on a good length finish - but generally this is a slightly dialled back rendition and all the better for it, allowing for some delineation and complexity.
