Friday, January 18, 2008 - An intense and very youthful nose of soil, mineral, plumskin, and cigar ash. Focused and taut in the mouth with wonderfully ripe acidity and great minerality all balanced against the slightly astringent plummy fruit. Turns darker fruited with airing revealing a core of blackberry fruit. The finish is very long with a touch af malo butteriness still. Delicious now but with all the ingredients for a long healthy life. 2008-2018
