Bright golden hue, classy and totally involving nose, which emphasises wet slate, citrus, honey, and deep bottle age complexity. In the mouth, intense, long, complex, with a finish that finishes surprisingly dry. The nature of the acid is stunning - it is bright, yet gentle. It provides structure and clarity, but does not undermine the opulent, yet intently focused nature of the wine. A stunning bottle.
