Sunday, August 27, 2023 - Chocolate, red cherry, green olive, and well-integrated vanilla oak at first sniff, with stewed strawberries, licorice, and pencil shavings emerging. Classic cab with balanced high acid and tannin, and a nice long finish of waffle cone and a bit of heat at 14.2%. Solid and enjoyable.
