Wednesday, July 12, 2023 - Langton's Bordeaux En Primeur 2022 tasting (Langham Hotel, Kent Street, Sydney): Medium minus intensity aromas of red plum and berry over black plum, slight alcohol prickle, a little savoury quality, with time cedar and sweet spice. And that red hued fruit note translates to the palate as well, talc textured, woody flavoured, tannins persists with that fruit, slight alcohol warmth intrudes on the finish and leaves things a little too warm for me.
