Thursday, January 18, 2024 - Howard Ripley '22 Burgundy: Saturated, angular, maybe a touch confected? Complex fruit leads the way with a mineral, steely edge. Great body and concentration, smooth at first with notes of sous bois and beautiful fruit weight. Long finish and it feels satisfyingly young structurally - framing tannins which need time to resolve, zippy acidity.
