Thursday, March 11, 2021 - Just opened it from my temp controlled cellar storage. Lovely. Wonderful nose of cassis, oak, vanilla. Lovely fruit, oak, integrated tannins. Nice acid - worked well with a steak. When I compare with other cellartracker notes from this and other wines, I conclude that storage does make a difference as many describe its over the hill. Yet from my wine tasying, this still could last another several years. It was the type of wine I couldnt stop drinking, which to me defines a break point in tasting wines - it was that tasty!
