Had it cellared in a temperature controlled environment which makes the wines hold up. Pleasantly surprised. Tasted fresh, nice integrated tannins, well balanced, Nice cassis, berry notes. Went well with steak. Could hold up for another few years, but alas, my last bottle. So far, this one has held up better with age than most other Cameron Hughes Cabs, which tend to last about 10 -12 years. This one close to 19 years!

Wine stored in a temperature and humidity controlled offsite cellar until a year ago, then stored in a temperature controlled home wine storage until tasting. I find that storage conditions make a big difference for aged wines esp delicate wines. Wine had a wonderful nose initially, cassis, oak, a bit of vanilla. Fruit still delicious, tannins receded, very balanced wine by now, oak fully integrated, and fairly soft by now, unlike powerhouse young Cabs. (Thats why one ages cabs). Did not taste any Rutherford "dust" anymore. Still, very enjoyable with a steak. More elegant than powerhouse cab. A bit surprised how well it aged. Most CH dont age that well beyond ~ 8 years. This was 13 years old and could have gone a few more years with good storage.

Interesting. I reviewed this wine twice and my reviews have disappeared from cellartracker. It doesnt even show up in my tasting notes! In any case, I tried it several times, the last prior to this was in 2020 and it was lovely. (I keep it in a temp and humidity controlled storage.) Just tasted it now and it is over the hill. Last bottle. Alcohol and not much else, Fruit is gone. But I am scoring it from the prior tasting.
