Wednesday, August 8, 2018 - Out of magnum and it seemed like a fine bottle with flavors of dark cherries and licorice but I felt it lacked the intensity and vigor of the best older bottles of Mascarello. As much as I love it when you get a perfect aged bottle of Bartolo's wine, there are just too many bottles out there that aren't up to snuff whether from shipping issues or a dirty, inconsistent cellar.
