Wednesday, February 2, 2011 - Chú Xī (除夕) Dinner at Home with Bill & Anita on Chinese New Year Eve (Our House, Hong Kong): Popped and poured as a last wine after a long and rich dinner of pre-New Year Chinese food. Bright and vibrant semi-transparent ruby red colour. Nose is welcoming and nice wild forest strawberries combined with rasberries and a touch of sous-bois. Palate is similar fruits enveloped in a nicely fresh and vibrant acidicy and warm tannins frame. No great length but very enjoyable.......especially because I bought two cases thinking they were the white wine! Superb value.
