Saturday, June 22, 2013 - Bud's 70th birthday lunch - the day after (Eketahuna, New Zealand): Light gold - some sulfur - racy lemon peel nose. Light and crisp palate, medium sweetness, considerable complexity - an almost weightless wine that dances on the palate. Minerality to the fore with a bright and involving finish. First rate wine at 7.5%.
