Monday, April 18, 2011 - Domaine Tasting at Bonneau du Martray (Burgundy, France): From bottle at the Domaine. Like the 2008 served before, the aromatics are more mineral driven with lemon and lime zest and traces of white floral. Crushed rocks. Palate is also very mineral driven, though the fruit has become a bit more pronounced since the last time I had it. A very gripping and focused wine and like the 2008, tons of acidity. Very long finish. These two vintages will be quite a lot of fun to compare years down the road.
