Saturday, June 13, 2009 - Opened to breathe for 1/2 hour, but not decanted. Loved this when released, but, because of vintage, apprehensive about how it's aging. Terrific, 95 point nose, mostly plums with traces of smoke and licorice. Medium body, but mouth-filling. Mostly plums on the palate - not all that complex. Bright, almost citrus-like, medium-length finish.
