Wednesday, April 8, 2015 - Monthly Tasting Group HWS #098; A Vertical of 17 vintages Poujeaux (By MM): Beautiful bouquet with still some cassis and red berries, sweet smoke, tobacco, leather and beautiful oak. On the palate juicy red berries, forest floor, good acidity and a touch of sweetness. The tannin is soft and still has some bite. Considering the vintage the wine performed above expectations. Completely ready, but no extreme hurry to drink it; over the next two years is probably wise. 88 – 89
