Wednesday, December 25, 2013 - Decanted for 2+ hours. Big and smooth. Black fruit and chocolate. Medium-low acidity. Nicely integrated tannins. It's a large mouthful and with the fairly low acidity, it can get tiring after awhile. But it's well build, and I'll be curious to see where it lands in half a dozen years. Personally, I'd like to see the oaky chocolate calm down, and a bit more acidity to help sharpen the palate.
