Sunday, April 2, 2017 - Medium golden yellow in color. Full, forward & fragrant nose of complex, ripe fruit aromas of apples, pears, citrus notes of lemons/limes & grapefruit with overtones of floral notes of honeysuckle wrapped around a solid core of minerals, stony, butterscotch, roasted hazelnuts & a subtle hint of toasty oak. Medium bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, complex, ripe fruit flavors of apples, pears & lemons/limes with minerals, flinty, stony, caramel/butterscotch & a hint of toasty oak. Long lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present & may be at its peak of development. A wonderful & still vibrant 1er Cru Puligny at 15 years of age.
