Saturday, June 2, 2018 - Unlike a bottle just a few months ago, this one did not lack tannic structure. In fact, it was a little TOO tannic to enjoy without fatty food, even 2 or 3 hours after opening. Textbook Napa cabernet characteristics, accompanied by some mountain-grown, wild-n-wooliness. Great nose (cassis, etc.), medium body, and a solid finish. Assuming the previous bottle was atypical, this probably won't peak until 2020.
