A suggestion of velvet texture amidst the fruit on first sip, with growing persistence of raspberry, red plum, cinnamon, iodine, earth, and a hint of integrated green stems on the palate. Lovely acidity and serious but smoothed tannin in harmonious balance, leading to a longer finish of rich red berry fruit underpinned by soft earthy grip. Just excellent and in a very nice place in its drinking window.
