Thursday, July 29, 1999 - The next dinner we started with Krug 1989 - unbelievably good champagne that feels more like a bubbly great white burgundy in richness and length. Great aged characters on nose and palate - amazing concentration and yeasty flavours - the best champagne I have had - showed much better than when first tasted a year ago. Should age really well. 96pnts - humbles Dom Perignon 1990.
