Thursday, November 25, 2010 - 14.6% ABV. Slightly translucent dark garnet in the glass. Some combination of youth and palate fatigue left me without a clear picture of this wine, except to say I think the raw materials are there and it just needs a little time to come together. Reticent black currant and cedar nose. Medium bodied with evidence of black currant fruit, but overall closed for business. Hope to re-taste this evening.
