Sunday, October 11, 2020 - Even better than my last bottle which is saying something. Enjoyed with friends at Hitching Post. What an experience with food, wine, and amazing friends. I thought the nose had smoke, pepper, and some earthiness to it. The palate had tobacco, pepper, cassis, a hint of vanilla, and a Bordeaux like structure to it. This was a beautiful wine tonight. Beringer makes same amazing top end reserves that can truly compete with some of the worlds best wines. Highly recommended and this can hold at this peak level for five-ten years I think easily. I still have a half a case left.
