Monday, June 6, 2022 - Decanted using screened aerating funnel into flat bottomed decanter at noon. Started to sip at 5:30, nice cassis and red dust, good balance, and fairly deep but limited complexity. Wonderful with simple Waygu steak dinner with round tannins and soft acidity. Continued to evolve until 9PM, by then it was very soft, round and full with very deep black fruits and fully integrated with tannins, fruit, minerality and acidity melded into one.
