Saturday, January 26, 2013 - Less nose than the 97. Not a fruity wine. More spice, greater complexity than the 97 as well. Black pepper, hint of mustiness on the nose. The tannins have resolved, very smooth. Nice acid, faint fruit.

Tried this wine along with the 97 at the party. Folks preferred the 97 over the 93. In my opinion both vintages are equally good, just different. Three and half stars out of five.
