Friday, October 5, 2012 - Just a Friday with buddies (Austin, TX): Oily and dense. Nose of pineapple, lychee, lemon oil, mango. On the palate, very heavy with flavors of lemon curd, peaches, white fruit, and a big whack of oak. Finishes with a nice acidic lift that balances the whole package. If I had these I would be holding them for a while to let the oak integrate better. Very well made and a definite treat.
