Sunday, September 11, 2022 - Burgundy Dinner with the Chevaliers du Tastevin (The Old Inn On The Green, New Marlborough, MA.): [Opened at 4pm. Served about 6pm.] Mature garnet color with onion skin edge. From the color, I would think this was much older than 2008. Many thought it was OTH, but I thought it was at its peak. Sweet nose of forest floor with hints of nutmeg and brown sugar. Mature, elegant, complex. Perfect match to the chicken and hen of the woods dish. If these bottles are representative, drink up!
