Sunday, October 22, 2017 - Slow ox for 12 hours. Moderately effusive nose of rose, dried herbs, cinnamon. Medium bodied with an elegant texture, the tannin structure at the outset is quite chalky and full, firm and austere. With some time in the glass, the tannins balance out and the wine becomes more harmonious. Strawberry, mulberry, and tar notes, good length. Fine.

Can be happily consumed now with the appropriate preparation, however another 5 years in the cellar will be worthwhile.
