Thursday, April 14, 2022 - Prior bottle was just over 6 months ago, so my notes were quite similar. White peach, apple, floral and spice notes on the nose with the white apple notes getting more prevalent the longer it was open. Medium bodied with with the same combination of white peach and white apple upfront. However, through the middle, the white peach evolves to yellow peach along with orange, white pineapple, mango, more yellow tropical fruit notes and even some hints of honey. Backside continues to show orange and lemon along with good acidity, but the acidity isn't as energetic as it was previously. While it still helps to balance the fruit, it's more a standard structural quality, rather than an element amplifying the fruit. This wine gained in complexity, but lost in terms of contrast. Still has the elements to continue to show well for a number of additional years.
