  • Very custard apple on the nose backed by nectarine and peach, a littler cream and butter in support. medium plus intensity acidity on the palate, tangy with flavours as per the nose accompanied by a little ripe red apple, very slightly textured burr and a touch of pettilance. Nice.

  • Prior bottle was just over 6 months ago, so my notes were quite similar. White peach, apple, floral and spice notes on the nose with the white apple notes getting more prevalent the longer it was open. Medium bodied with with the same combination of white peach and white apple upfront. However, through the middle, the white peach evolves to yellow peach along with orange, white pineapple, mango, more yellow tropical fruit notes and even some hints of honey. Backside continues to show orange and lemon along with good acidity, but the acidity isn't as energetic as it was previously. While it still helps to balance the fruit, it's more a standard structural quality, rather than an element amplifying the fruit. This wine gained in complexity, but lost in terms of contrast. Still has the elements to continue to show well for a number of additional years.

  • Light whitish yellow; nice, intense, sweet brioche; fresh intense sweetness with good acidity, really tasty; you take one sip and then immediately ask for another

  • Crystalline peach, white apple, floral and spice notes on a quite pretty nose. Medium bodied (7% ABV) with white peach and white apple upfront. Shows more depth and noticeably more intensity through the mid-body. There's a mixture of white and yellow peach along with orange qualities and even some tart tropical notes towards the back. Acidity is still quite lively and not only supports the fruit, but also provides a pleasant zip of contrast on the back to go along with the tart citrus notes (orange and lemon). There's a richness through the middle, but only the lightest touch of true sweetness. Leaves the wine feeling youthful, with well defined and balanced fruit, coupled with good structural qualities. Should continue to evolve positively and I'll save my next bottle for Fall 2022.
